ChloĆ© is a twelve-year-old girl. Today, her mother asks her to tidy up her room. “There is a lot of mess in your room,” says the mother. “Our apartment must be clean,” she adds. Chloe then takes the vacuum cleaner and cleans the floor. Then, she moves her shelf and organizes her books. She picks up her little sister’s and little brother’s toys. “Their toys are everywhere,” she says. Chloe puts her clothes in the wardrobe. Chloe likes her bed well made, so she arranges her cushions. Her room becomes clean. Chloe is happy with her work. Now, she invites her friends to come and play. “Your friends are happy,” says her mother. Chloe is proud of her room because it’s her favorite space.
